As for the team news, West Brom will not have Gabriel Tamas as he is suspended after being sent off in Tuesday's 3-1 home defeat by Blackburn Rovers, while Gonzalo Jara is also out of this clash after collecting his fifth booking of the season in the same match.
Meanwhile Jonas Olsson misses out through an Achilles injury and Paul Scharner is doubtfulafter missing training on Thursday due to illness. That means that Steven Reid is set to replace Jara at right-back, and Pablo Ibanez should come in at centre-half. Meanwhile Gianni Zuiverloon has been recalled from his loan spell at Ipswich Town.
The good news for West Brom is that winger Chris Brunt returns after serving his suspension in the defeat against Blackburn.

For the Red Devils, Sir Alex Ferguson must decide whether to make changes to his side after making only one change in the draw against Birmingham last Tuesday.
Dimitar Berbatov is likely to start after he scored against Birmingham to take his tally to 11 goals to make him the top scorer in the Premiership to date.
Meanwhile, Paul Scholes and John O'Shea are set to miss out while Darren Fletcher could come back into the side after coming on as a substitute against Birmingham. Ferguson hopes Nani who has missed the last two games with a hip injury can return back in time.
