Two wins and a draw gave RKC Waalwijk an unexpected start of the season where many analyst made the team one of their favorites for the drop at the end of the season.
Last week RKC Waalwijk grabbed a 1-0 win at home to Roda JC thanks to a second half goal from Braber (mid) but the fresh and attractive football from their previous games was hard to find. RKC Waalwijk did have the best of the play but failed to create huge chances, although Braber (mid), Chevalier (att) and Josefszoon (att) came close in doubling the lead.
RKC Waalwijk will host Heracles Almelo without Janssen (att) who tore his knee ligaments last week while Jungschläger (mid) is doubtful being not yet fit to play.
Heracles Almelo
Heracles Almelo remains winless after three games losing 1-2 at home to Feyenoord last weekend. The team once again failed to impress and where Heracles was a feared opponent last season the once so impressive midfield is being overrun in their first three games.
It has to be said that Heracles showed some of their sparkle in the second half against Feyenoord after Duarte (mid) pulled one goal back from a free kick. However, Heracles did not manage to put the visitors under a lot of pressure allowing Feyenoord to pick up three points in Almelo.
For the game against RKC Waalwijk the team remains without midfielders Vujicevic (mid) and Veijnovic (mid) while Belterman (mid) will remain sidelined with a long-term knee injury.
The Betting Verdict :
At first glance odds for the home win around evens are quite a good offer given the fact Heracles Almelo are poor travelers. Heracles are without a win in their last six games but in the previous four meetings against RKC Waalwijk they are without a defeat.
Odds for the home win are good enough for the taking and I will trust RKC Waalwijk to repeat their performance from last week with small stakes and also win their third home game this season.
