ANALYSIS
Sydney Swans have lost three of their last four matches, including last Saturday’s 18-point loss to ladder leaders Geelong at Skilled Stadium, and the dreams of the 3rd consecutive grand final seem to be fading fast.
Swans coach Paul Roos said he wasn't that upset in the loss - as it had been expected - but it appears that several selection changes are in store - as Sydney search desperately for a winning touch.
Fremantle, are coming off their biggest win of the season and the second-highest score in the club’s history when they thrashed Carlton 27.11 (173) to 13.18 (96) win over Carlton at Subiaco Oval.
But it's Freo's away form that is under the microscope as they've gone 4-4 in their last 8 matches winning all four home fixtures and losing all 4 road trips.
A win over Carlton is all well and good - but Carlton have lost their last two games by a total margin of 177 points - so it's not the strictest of tests.
With Chris Tarrant back and Jeff Farmer in good form then Freo have a chance - but can they do it away from Subiaco?
THE VERDICT
Freo can't win away from Subiaco while Sydney have won 8 of their last 11 home matches - all of them by at least 25 points !
