Match Preview :
Both sides enters this match knowing that it is a must win for different reasons. For Tottenham, they are chasing a place in the Champions League while for Blackburn they are fighting for Premiership survival.
Tottenham have dropped out of the top four after a poor run of just one win in their last nine matches. On the other end, Blackburn are second from the bottom with just three games left to save their season.
Tottenham occupied third place for the bulk of the campaign but have been taken over by Arsenaland Newcastle in the race for a place in the Champions League. Redknapp has challenged his players to win all four of their remaining games if they want to climb back into the top four, beginning with the visit of Blackburn on Super Sunday.
Blackburn are three points away from safety with time running out for them. Throughout the season the fans have been angry at manager Steve Kean and vented their anger at owner Venky's. Despite two straight wins last month, they plummeted back into the drop zone with five straight defeats. But a win against Norwich last weekend could have come at the right time nd they could lift themselves out of trouble with only their third away success of the season, if they can beat Tottenham here today.
However, Tottenham, have lost just three home games this season knows a win here can put them level on points with Newcastle in fourth place.
