Inter Milan returned to winning ways after beating Udinese 3-2 last weekend which brought an end to three consecutive draws they had. Much has been highlighted that their drop in form could be due to A.S Roma's good revival as well as A.C Milan's impressive form. But with the two sides cancelling each other out on Saturday, Inter will want to get the win here and pull further ahead.

Also with the Champions League tie against Chelsea to come, that could have affected their performance somewhat. But their home fans will be hoping that the team will revert to the unstoppable form that has become associated with the club in Serie A.

Genoa meanwhile have failed to hit form this season partly due to the sale of Diego Milito and Thiago Motta to Inter. However, Gian Piero Gasperini’s side find themselves just five points off Palermo in fourth, so qualification for the Champions League is still possible. If they were to get a rare win at the San Siro, that would do their confidence a world of good as well as securing a top four finish.

As for the team news, Inter will be missing the likes of Christian Chivu and youngster Davide Santon through injury. Argentine Esteban Cambiasso misses out through suspension.

For Genoa, the likes of Croatian midfielder Ivan Juric, January signing Dario Dainelli and young striker Robert Acquafresca are missing due to respective injuries other than that Gasperini has a healthy squad to select from.

Last season it finished in a dull goalless draw. Inter Milan will want to get a win here to boost confidence and show their dominance at home.
