The 4th Champions League ticket will be played for at the Renzo Barbera stadium in Palermo. The Sicilian city has been a real fortress this season for the local club who are yet to suffer a defeat. But the draw shall not be enough for the hosts on Sunday afternoon as the only way to get the qualification is
to win against Sampdoria.

Palermo is currently 5th in the standings and have won 3 of last 4 Serie A encounters. The most notable one came in the match against Milan. Rossonerro were soundly beaten 3-1.

Dellio Rossi's side is considered by many to be the most entertaining to watch in Italy this season: conceding plenty of goals but systematically scoring more at the other end of the pitch.

Sicilian's task is problemised by the absence of injured Marco Bresciano. Miccoli and Cavani are also in discomfort, but should
overcome all physical obstacles to feature in the match of the season.

Sampdoria

Sampa would be content even with a draw as they currently occupy 4th position and are seen as favorites for the Champions League qualification.

Recent sprint (5 straight wins) has brought Del Neri's men to where they were some months ago before the downfall. Antonio Cassano and Giampaolo Pazzini deserve all the credit for carrying Sampa into the desired 4th place. Mighty duo virtually single-handedly smashed Roma,Milan and Genoa along the ongoing winning-run.

Sampa only has the injury of Accardi to cope with. Tissone, Zauri and Rossi are rated doubtful.

Betting advice

Considering the impressive run Sampdoria is enjoying - bookies have no right to rate them as such underdogs.

Even the X2 option still offers us a decent 1.79 line, which should be given 5 cents, no doubt in my mind.
