Wales are one of only 4 teams attempting to qualify for Euro 2012 who have not managed to get a single point so far. Poor Wales sit rock bottom of the group and now entertain Montenegro, who will be looking for the win that will hopefully keep them at least joint top with England.

When these two last met, in the reverse fixture, Montenegro ground out a 1-0 win. John Toshack is no longer the manager and since the end of that game Gary Speed has taken over, and will try and get his team to salvage some pride here by taking at least a point to give the home fans something to feel happy about. It will not be easy. This is a stingy Montenegro side that does not like shipping goals and sets up to play with exactly that goal in mind. Montenegro blanked Englands strikers and earned a 0-0 draw and it was only in their last match, against Bulgaria, that they conceded their first goal in qualification. That match ended 1-1.

Wales, I feel, will play to avoid defeat here. A win would be nice but they would really like their first point. Another reason I feel they will not go gung-ho on attack is that Montenegro will probably play to keep possession, happy to pass it around and wait for Wales to make a mistake. Basically, this is going to be a bore-fest.
