Catania under the guidance of Vincenzo Montella welcomes the visit of Luiz Enrique's Roma who are in form for this clash at the Stadio Angelo Massimino.
Montella will have reasons to want to get a win here as he spent 12 years with Roma as a player and Coach and was in charge of the senior squad from February until the end of last season, where he was then discharged and Enrique brought in to the Roma side.
When Enrique was struggling after he first landed the Roma job, Montella then claimed he would have been fired had he was in charge of the side and obtained the similar results. But nevertheless Montella said he has no ill feelings or revenge coming into this match. Roma meanwhile have won four of their last six games and other then Inter Milan, they are the most in-form side going into this clash.
In midweek Roma beat Fiorentina in the last 16 of the Coppa Italia and then stated that it was a chance for them to prove their side is big enough.
However it needs to be noted here that Roma have not won in Catania since April 2007, losing two and drawing two of their four further visits.
