English Premier News :: Stan James and Bet365 think that Burnley will have a tough time in the Premier League

Bookmakers do not rate Burnley's chances of staying in the Premier League next season after they won the Coca-Cola Championship Play-Off final.

Owen Coyle's Burnley side won promotion to the top flight following a 1-0 victory over Sheffield United at Wembley but they are as short as 4/11 with Stan James for an immediate return to the Championship.



The Clarets, among the founder members of the Football League, are back in the top flight for the first time since 1976 courtesy of Wade Elliott's 13th-minute strike and are 6/4 with bet365 to avoid relegation next season.

bet365 spokesman Steve Freeth said: "Owen Coyle has worked miracles to get Burnley into the Premier League and they'll have a fighting chance of survival with him at the helm."
