Analysis:Both sides comes into this match with 2-0 wins despite having a huge injury list in their squad. Milan won against Catania despite playing with ten men, knowing that they cannot let down their guard with Napoli close in their wings.
But for this match they will be without a fully fit squad as they welcome Lazio, who themselves needs to keep getting points in order to keep their slim Champions League hopes intact.
It can be said that Milan paid the price for the win over Catania as they will lose the services captain Massimo Ambrosini who suffered a hamstring injury and is expected to be out for at least three weeks, and a red card to Mark Van Bommel who will be suspended for this clash.
The Milan midfield are in trouble now as they are already missing the likes of Boateng, Gattuso, Pirlo, Seedorf and Strasser who are out injured. This will mean that Allegri will probably continue with his so far successful experiment of bringing Thiago Silva forward to the midfield line which means that he will play in between new signing Emanuelson and the returning Flamini.
At the back with Alessandro Nesta out injured there will be changes as well. Daniele Bonera is likely to move to the centre-back position alongside Mario Yepes, who played exceptionally well in their last match against Catania.
At right-back, instead of the injured Gianluca Zambrotta, Sokratis Papastathopoulos could start as he is showing better form with renewed confidence. In attack, Pato is slightly favoured over Cassano, apart from the irreplaceable Ibrahimovic and Robinho.
Lazio starts this match also with a lot of injuries to worry about. Edy Reja is likely to field a 4-4-1-1 against Milan. Floccari picked up an injury against the Viola and joins Rocchi in the treatment room, while Zarate still has a game of suspension to finish.
Diakite is another injury concern which means that Biava is likely to move back into the middle of defence, with Radu returning to the starting line-up as left-back.
Watch out for Zlatan Ibrahimovic to hit the target in this match.
Cheers and good luck,
