A Sports Betting Pick by Cruiser

Match Preview:

England knows that they can virtually seal qualification with a win over Wales at Wembley Stadium in this penultimate Group G Match. England cruised to a 3-0 success in Sofia against Bulgaria to move three points clear at the top, as Montenegro suffered a 2-1 defeat at the Cardiff City Stadium to Wales.

A win here would leave Fabio Capello needing just a draw from their final group game in Podgorica next month, while Montenegro would have to beat Switzerland away from home even if they manage to overcome England. But with Wales beating Montenegro it suggests that Gary Speed's players are more dangerous then their World Ranking of 117.

It has to be said that Wales will be determined to put on a better show than they managed in the last meeting at the Millennium Stadium in March, when goals from Darren Bent and Frank Lampard decided the game within the first quarter half of the match.

Team News :

Bent is definitely out with a groin problem and is one of three players to have returned to his club due to injury, with defensive duo Micah Richards and Leighton Baines (both hamstring) also sidelined. Lampard, meanwhile, was a surprise omission from the starting line-up against Bulgaria as Capello opted to go with Scott Parker and started with Gareth Barry in central midfield. That was the first time in four years the Chelsea player had not started a competitive international for which he was available.

Meanwhile, Gary Cahill and Chris Smalling are once again expected to slot in alongside captain John Terry and Ashley Cole in defence, with Joe Hart in goal and Wayne Rooney leading the attacking line. Ashley Young and Stewart Downing are set to provide the main support for Rooney but Andy Carroll is back in contention after being deemed not fit enough to feature in their last match against Bulgaria.

We could also see the inclusion of James Milner in place of Theo Walcott on the right of midfiel as Capello is keen for England to improve their recent record at Wembley.

For Wales, after four straight defeats the presence of Gareth Bale got his team fired up in the win over Montengero. Gary Speed will be hoping to carry on from where they left off with the view of looking towards the 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign.

While the likes of Bale and captain Aaron Ramsey have the quality to trouble England, talismanic striker Craig Bellamy misses out after he picked up a yellow card against Montenegro. David Vaughan is also out after receiving a yellow card in Cardiff, but the defence will be bolstered by the return from a ban of Aston Villa centre-back James Collins.

Sam Ricketts remains sidelined as the Bolton defender continues his recovery from Achilles surgery, while Blackpool full-back Neal Eardley is out with broken fingers. But Jack Collison has recovered from a stomach bug and is in line to make his first competitive appearance for Wales

Possible lineups for :

England : Hart, Smalling, Cahill, Terry, Cole, Milner, Parker, Barry, Young, Rooney, Downing.

Wales : Hennessey, Gunter, Collins, Williams, Taylor, Allen, Ledley, Collison, Ramsey, Bale, Morison

Prediction :

England is giving 2 1/4 balls here. The handicap seems high at first glance but go for England to go for a goal scoring spree to send out a message to the World and improve on their record at Wembley.

The Pick :

England 4-0 Wales
