Manchester City hosts West Brom and they will aim to close the gap on United and hope Wigan can do them a favour.

Nevertheless City are still a force at the Etihad Stadium despite dropping points for the first time in the thrilling 3-3 draw against Sunderland.

City will be without Yaya Toure for this match but he will be back for the clash with Norwich. This is due to the fact that the midfielder hobbled out of City's defeat by Arsenal last Sunday with a knee injury after just 15 minutes.

The good news is that David Silva returns after he was forced to sit out the clash with Arsenal. Balotelli is suspended after his red card against Arsenal, but the controversial Italian avoided further punishment after the Football Association decided not to act on his studs-up challenge on Alex Song.

West Brom Team News :
Hodgson will be withou captain and midfielder Chris Brunt and left-back Liam Ridgewell due to knee problems. Paul Scharner and Nicky Shorey will come into the side to replace the duo.
