Arsenal travels to the Britannia Stadium looking to keep their present third spot when they face Stoke who are currently out of form. Stoke will not have Andy Wilkinson as he is out with a groin injury and is also doubtful for the midweek game with Everton. Jermaine Pennant has returned to training after two weeks out with a virus but will not be considred for this match.

Yossi Benayoun could return for Arsenal, as he was ineligible to play for his parent club last weekend. Meanwhile Abou Diaby will be checked before the game as he continues to fight a virus.
Theo Walcott will miss the game with a hamstring injury picked up in the draw with Chelsea, but Arsene Wenger is hopeful he could come back before the season ends. However the likes of Mikel Arteta (ankle), Jack Wilshere (ankle) and Per Mertesacker (ankle) are all long-term absentees.
