Parma's run of three straight victories came to an end in Pescara last weekend, the home side securing a much needed 2-0 victory on the expense of a modest Parma side.

Siena recorded their third win of the season inflicting a fourth consecutive defeat to Genoa and moved to within two points of 19th placed Bologna.

Serse Cosmi’s side would have been 13th at the moment without the deduction, but the victory against Genoa helped them closing up the gap between them and the pack.

Siena will now travel to Parma trying to avoid a fourth away defeat this season. After the shocking 2-0 victory at Giuseppe Meazza against Inter Milan, Cosmi’s side was not able to repeat the performance and lost three consecutive games on the road.

There are several players that have been ruled out for this match including midfielders Rosina and Ze Eduardo.

Playing at home gives Parma a lot of strength, they’ve put up some solid performances this season when playing at the Ennio Tardini stadium, so even though the odds may seem a bit short I think that Parma is the team to back here.

Siena are poor travelers, they’ve conceded at least two goals in four of their last five away games in Serie A and not having Rosina and Ze Eduardo for this match will decrease their chances to avoid another defeat considerably.
