BETTING PREVIEW
Ligue 1 action resumes in France, with league leaders PSG hosting AC Ajaccio, who are in 13th place, 15 points behind their hosts.
The previous meeting was a 0-0 draw but that game was not at home for PSG, who won their last home game against Ajaccio 4-1.
Youʼd have to go back to 2006 to find the last win by the visitors over PSG, as since then they have lost 2 games heavily and drawn the last meeting.
Current form suggests Ajaccio are going to struggle to stop a deadly PSG attack that ended 2012 with a 3-0 win away at Stade Brest. Ajaccio suffered a 4-2 loss at home against Rennes, so itʼs understandable that they are not being given much of a chance here.
Much of the talk has been about the possible return of Anelka, who has grown unhappy in China (Yeah, big surprise). There is enough firepower in this team though, as is clear when you look at recent results.
PSG scored 4 in the Cup just a few days ago, and other than
the 1-0 win over Lyon, they have ben scoring for fun, netting 3 without answer at Brest and winning 4-0 over Valenciennes and Evian Thonon Gaillard.
Ajaccioʼs defence looks suspect and is easy to exploit. They let in 3 without scoring at Montpellier, letting in the same number of goals in a loss at Troyes.
At home, Rennes were allowed 4 goals, so you have to think they will get hit for a few, as PSG will not be satisfied with just a win, thanks to the chasing pack being so close it becomes necessary to make sure the goal difference keeps getting better.
THE BETTING VERDICT
Letʼs bet on PSGʼs offence to score a few in what should be a comfortable win.
