Sampdoria were the unfortunate side to end Siena’s seven games winless run then they lost 1-0 last weekend at Stadio Artemio Franchi.

I can’t say it was a surprise, Sampdoria have already lost six games on the road this season, but they should have performed better against the bottom placed Siena.

Sampdoria will now return to Stadio Luigi Ferraris in an attempt to record their first victory after three poor results, Il Doria have failed to score in these three games against tough opponents like Udinese, Lazio and Milan.

We might see striker Maxi Lopez back in action in the second half, the Argentine recovered from an injury, but he won’t be able to play 90 minutes, so Icardi will play up front.

Pescara’s away victory against Fiorentina was one of the most shocking results of the Serie A season, but it seems like they couldn’t confirm that result and got back to their losing ways.

Cristiano Bergodi’s team is still above the relegation zone, but I don’t know for how long, they keep dropping points at home which will eventually get to them.

Torino didn’t gave them a chance last weekend, the visitors took the lead after just four minutes through Mario Santana and doubled their advantage shortly before the interval when Alessio Cerci punished some slack home marking.

Pescara will now travel to Genoa in an attempt to avoid their 8th away defeat of the season, but they will have to do it without their top scorer Weiss and midfielder Modesto who are both suspended for this match.

Sampdoria have received the visit of some tough sides lately and they didn’t do so well in these games, only holding Milan to a goalless draw.

However, Pescara seems to be the best opponent to play against at the moment, this is a good chance for Il Doria to regain some confidence and I expect them to put at least two goals past the visitors.
