There are always going to be headlines made by Manchester United, but they will be desperate for the narrative to change after recent form and off-field issues around the club. Manchester United have picked up some victories in the Europa League and FA Cup, but the Premier League form has been poor and the last defeat makes it 6 losses in 9 League fixtures played. Ruben Amorim is still searching for some answers in the final third, although he can point to some poor finishing last time out. Big opportunities were created and another week of working on the training ground has to be benefit a group of players that are underachieving.
Talk of the system is just an excuse for a squad that hadn't exactly been ripping up trees under Erik ten Hag before Ruben Amorim took over as manager.
