It's already another disappointing year for Notre Dame. I'm not really sure why anyone expects them to have a good season anymore, but they do. And Notre Dame continues to struggle every year no matter what new coach is brought in. They are 4-4 so far this season.
Luckily for Notre Dame, they have played most of the good teams on their schedule and are now in a stretch of playing some weaker teams.
Speaking of weaker teams, the Tulsa Hurricane come to South Bend this weekend. They are not good. They are 4-3 on the year against a very weak schedule.
They have beaten Tulane and Memphis, two of the worst teams in the FBS division this year. They have lost 3 of their 4 road games. One of those was against a good team, Oklahoma State. The other two were against East Carolina and SMU.
Another important factor is that this will be the first trip ever for Tulsa to travel to Notre Dame and their biggest nationally televised game. They will be in awe of their surroundings.
Tulsa just can't stop anyone (other than Memphis). Notre Dame may score every time they have the ball. It wouldn't surprise me. Tulsa's offense may keep them in the game for a little while, but overall I just can't see them keeping up for 60 minutes.
