Borussia Dortmund extended their streak to five wins in a row last weekend when they won against FC Koln 3-2 but it not came easy. After being 2-0 up Koln managed to score two goals and everything pointed to a draw, but then Grosskreutz in the stoppage time (90+2) scored the winner.
Now Borussia Dortmund are on an eleven game unbeaten run (eight wins, three draws) – which is their best streak in the last seven seasons.
Coach Jurgen Klopp still has many problems with selecting his squad. Another blow for the team is the injury of their goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller who will be five weeks out due to his flesh wound on his knee that he got after clashing with two Koln`s players last week.
Yasin Oztekin (hairline crack in the shinbone), Dimitar Rangelov (broken foot) all have to complete a four-week rehab program before they are able to return to regular training again in the middle of February. Markus Feulner (partial ankle ligament rupture) has to wait for six weeks before he gets back to trainings.
Good news for the team is the extension of the contract of their best scorer Lucas Barrios (nine Bundesliga goals so far) which will tie him to Borussia Dortmund until 30 June 2014.

Hamburger is on good run with three wins in a row in the Bundesliga. They also have been undefeated in the last five matches.
HSV coach Bruno Labbadia is also having problems with completing his team for this important match. He will have to do without at least nine players against BVB.
Ze Roberto and Alex Silva are long time injured and still completing their rehabilitation program. Bastian Reinhardt has a cold and is doubtful for selection.
Jerome Boateng is back in the squad after serving his red card suspension.
