A Sports Betting Pick by Cruiser
Analysis:This is the battle at the bottom of the standings and both managers knows that this game could determine their fate come end of the season.
Hull currently occupy second from bottom of the table, but just a point behind 17th placed Wolves, who are out of the drop zone on goal difference. Brown will be delighted to return to the KC Stadium after Hull had difficult games against Tottenham and Manchester United away from home.
Back in October and November last year they took 11 points from five home games which dragged the Tigers out of the drop zone last time and Brown will be hoping for maximum points here.
Wolves on the other hand approaches this match on the back of a good goalles draw with Liverpool. McCarthy will once again be hoping his defence can do their job here.
With regards to the team news, but Amr Zaki is set for his Tigers debut but they will still not have talisman Jimmy Bullard. Midfielder Bullard, out for almost two months with a knee injury is not yet match fit and will not be risked. Former Wigan striker Zaki who moved to Hull City on loan from Wigan will start from the bench.
Defender Kamil Zayatte (ankle) is doubtful having not trained this week, while Geovanni (knee) and Kamel Ghilas (thigh) are out with injuries.
Seyi Olofinjana is still at the African Cup of Nations but Daniel Cousin has returned to the side.
For the visitors Wolves, newcomer Geoffrey Mujangi Bia is expected to shake off a tight hamstring and start the match. The on-loan Charleroi wide player was unable to train on Thursday but Wolves manager McCarthy is confident he will be ready for the start of the match.
Defender George Elokobi is also set to start after suffering a bout of illness earlier in the week while striker Stefan Maierhofer has recovered from his hernia operation and is available for selection.
However Michael Kightly and Dave Edwards are out with ankle injuries for another two weeks. McCarthy has to decide whether to recall striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, who was not even amongst the substitutes for the midweek draw with Liverpool, or keep faith with a 4-5-1 formation.
