Meanwhile, youngster Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could keep his place in Arsenal's starting lineup after an impressive performance against United before being substituted late on for out-of-form Andrey Arshavin.

Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has recovered from sickness in time and has travelled with the side to North London. Agbonlahor had to be substituted at half-time because of the bug during last weekend's win at Wolves.
Fellow striker Emile Heskey (Achilles) and midfielder Stephen Ireland (hamstring) are also available for selection after their injuries.
However, winger Charles N'Zogbia's is out with a knee problem and joins defender Carlos Cuellar (calf) and midfielder Chris Herd (ankle) on the treatment table.
