2026-06-19 - Brazil vs Haiti
A Sports Betting Pick by ArmchairPunter
Football : World: FIFA World Cup - Group C
Venue: Lincoln Financial Field

Brazil
A lacklustre performance against Morocco in their opening game in Group C resulted in a 1-1 draw with the African nation, leaving Brazil level on just a point apiece with the Moroccans ahead of this upcoming matchday two fixture with Haiti.
Brazil national coach, Carlo Ancelotti, will therefore be demanding a vast improvement against the World Cup minnows on Friday (local time) at Lincoln Financial Field which could prompt more than just a few goals being scored into the bargain as well, with Selecao chasing the early Group C leaders, Scotland.
Goals have featured on a fairly regular basis where Brazil have been concerned since booking their ticket for the World Cup finals after an unconvincing qualifying campaign, with five of their subsequent nine internationals since qualifying resulting in Over 2.5 goals.
With the likes of Vinicius Jr, Raphinha, Cunha, Estevao and creative midfielder Guimaraes at their disposal, Brazil should make light work of Haiti.
Fast Fact: Brazil are the only nation to have played in every World Cup tournament since 1930.
Haiti
Haiti produced a spirited display against Scotland in their opening game in Group C but nevertheless, Les Grenadiers were left with nothing to show for their troubles after suffering a 1-0 loss to Steve Clarke’s side.
A much tougher prospect in the shape of Brazil now await the Haitians on Saturday against a slow-starting Brazilian outfit who know they must grab all three points on matchday two if they are to ensure their passage through to the knockout rounds.
Haiti also know they need a result against the Brazilians after slipping to a defeat in their opening game but with Mexico following fast on Brazil’s heels, the more likely scenario is that Sebastien Migne’s side will be making an early exit from the tournament.
Fast Fact: Haiti became the first Caribbean nation to qualify for the World Cup through CONCACAF qualifying when it reached the 1974 tournament.
The Betting Verdict
In the only previous meeting between these two nations, Brazil ran out comprehensive 7-1 winners over Haiti in the Copa America back in 2016.
