Saturday 12th December Kick Off 3pm
Hearts (7th) Home Record W2 D2 L2
Dundee United (4th) Away Record W3 D4 L0
Its been a hugely disappointing season for Hearts so far this season. Finishing third last year it was expected that they would lead the charge for third at the very least again. However it has not materialised and instead Hearts will be battling just to make the top 6 before the split next year.
Last week Csaba Lazslo's side were beaten 2-1 at Hamilton in a very bad tempered affair. In all 4 Hearts players were sent off, 2 during and 2 after the game. However it is likely that midfielder Michael Stewart will have his overturned which is good news ahead of Saturday's game. The brawl which happened in the tunnel after the game was described by Lazslo as the worst he has ever seen.
Discipline has been a huge problem for Hearts this season and its costing them badly with suspensions. Lazslo also faces a goalkeeping dilemma for Saturday as he may be without his first 3 choice goalkeepers as Janos Balogh has a hamstring injury, Jamie Mcdonald a thigh strain and Mario Kello is fighting to overcome an ilness which kept him out of the Hamilton game.
Things have been much brighter for Craig Levein's side. Fresh from a 3-2 defeat over St Mirren they will have nothing to fear from their trip to Tynecastle. They have been beaten only once all season and are unbeaten away from home. They managed a 1-1 draw at Celtic Park while they also beat Celtic at Tanadice.
United host Rangers on Tuesday night in what will be a massive game for them but will want to get the job done against Hearts first. Ill discipline has also been a problem for Craig Levein's side at times this season with 3 sent off in the last 2 games. But they managed 4 points from those game showing their excellent form.
The Tangerines have won well at Aberdeen and Kilmarnock in recent times aswell as the draw with Motherwell when down to 9 men so they will fancy their chances here. They have got Strikers in form too in Damian Casalinuovo and Danny Cadamarteri and Jon Daly who has scored twice recently as a sub.

Take DUNDEE UNITED TO WIN. They are great price at 7/5 for a team in form playing against an out of sorts Hearts team who are missing several players.
