Austria are 8 points behind group leaders Germany but have a chance of catching Belgium, who are just 3 points ahead of them in 2nd, having played a game more. All to play for here at home but they will have to be at their very best to get something from a game against Germany. Austria have lost 4 in a row to their more accomplished neighbours.

Actually, the home team are on a run of 4 losses (including friendlies) at the moment, going down to Belgium, Turkey in qualifying matches and Greece and Holland in friendlies.

Austria is going to have a hard time getting on the scoresheet against a German defence that has conceded just once in 5 games. Manuel Neuer, who has moved from Schalke to Bayern Munich, is a great shotstopper and will be hard to beat, especially since Austria have not scored in over 2 games. Good chance of another clean sheet for Germany, who will surely score more a fair few.

GERMANY

With many teams you can expect a team to take their foot off once the job is more or less done, but not Germany. The proud country have a ruthless streak that will surely get put on display again should they take an early lead.

Gomez and Klose are likely to score and are priced accordingly. Perhaps a side bet on Klose to score 2 or more might be in order, as he has netted 8 times already in qualifying.

Joachim Low's side will clinch qualification with a win and will be looking to score a bunch of goals in doing so. Overs looks like another wager to consider.
