Twente will be hoping for a better result at home this Sunday than last time out in the Dutch Eredivisie when they play host to 14th placed Venlo at their De Grolsch Veste ground following a 3-1 defeat to Ajax.

Venlo have won two of their last three matches which includes wins against Willem II and Den Haag along with a draw at home against Heerenveen but it should be kept in mind that Venlo’s recent successes have been against teams sitting in the bottom three of the Dutch top flight.
Indeed, Venlo’s other win on the road was at basement dwellers, Emmen, while an overall away record of 2-1-5 16/18 includes defeats at Heerenveen, Groningen, Willem II, Waalwijk and PSV along with failing to keep a clean sheet on their travels to date.

The last meeting between these two ended up with a 2-1 win for Twente away from home just before Christmas and the hosts will be looking to do the same thing again this Sunday.
