Partick Thistle were handed a rude awakening in last weekend’s season opener away from home at St Johnstone in the Scottish Championship as The Jags suffered a comprehensive 5-1 beating at McDiarmid Park, but the hosts will return to Firhill Stadium for this upcoming clash with Greenock Morton on Saturday afternoon.

However, if Morton are to feature among the play-off places this season, The Ton will need to improve upon a pretty ordinary away record which finished up on 4-7-7 17/30 which included slipping to three defeats in their last six games on the road.
