For once, Argentina are strong favourites when these giants will play the Copa America final. Rightly so, and I would consider Argentina as favourites, even if Kaka and Ronaldinho were playing in the Brazilian team.
Argentina are playing some terrific football at the moment and once again I am reminded of the World Cup 2006 in Germany, when their coach, withdrew Riquelme in the second half, with Argentina were leading 1-0 and controlling Germany.
It was time for the Italian style, self destruct tactics, and Germany were invited back into the game. It was so stupid. Maybe it was the World Cup title that was thrown away.
Anyway, Argentina have a really strong team and also some magnificent individuals, such as Messi and Riquelme, who can both easily decide a match.
Brazil then? No bigger stars in my opinion, but a decent collective.
They are probably playing smarter than many other versions of Brazil, due to the fact that they cannot afford any extravagant displays. Without Kaka and Ronaldinho they are like a meal without spices.
Robinho have scored 6 goals, I am aware of that, but nevertheless he is not the super star in my opinion. Not yet anyway.
Brazil will be without their leading midfielder, Gilberto Silva, who is suspended for the final. Hopefully Dunga will be so bold to field Diego from the start, but I guess that he will pick a defensive player instead.

Nothing wrong with the odds on Argentina this time.
