Analysis:Chelsea have home ground advantage here and even though they did not score in that match they can make up for it here and after the 4-0 win over West Ham in the Premiership, they will start as strong favourites here tonight.
Avram Grant could make a surprise here by naming Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba as a pair in attack and leaving out German International Michael Ballack, something he has tried out in training. Michael Essien could start this match after coming on as a substitute last week, which means that there will be no place in the side for Claude Makelele.
In central defence we will see the partnership of John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho which means that Alex will be on the bench. Shaun Wright-Phillips and Florent Malouda are hoping to get the nod here after Joe Cole and Salomon Kalou started against West Ham and that could be the case if Grant starts with a 4-5-1 formation on the night.
For the visitors, a goalless draw will put them through but defender defender Christos Patsatzoglou knows that Chelsea will come charging at them from the referee's whistle.
For the record, Greek sides has never fared well on English soil in the past.
Interestingly, Olympiakos have based their success this season on a solid defence, so the test is can their defence withstand Chelsea's numerous attack here tonight? Their plan will be to defend and rely on counter attacks on the break.
The visitors will be missing without former Newcastle striker Lomana Tresor Lua Lua as he dislocated his shoulder last weekend. Also missing is winger Luciano Galletti with a thigh strain.
Take Chelsea to win and give the 1 ½ ball here.
Cheers and good luck,
