Marseille will be keen to replicate their previous result at home in the French top flight when they take on 9th placed Brest at their Orange Vélodrome following a comprehensive 5-1 thrashing of Montpellier which has kept the hosts in the frame for a possible top three finish and Champions League football next season.

Brest’s mixed bag of results in recent weeks in the French top flight continued last time out with a heavy 3-1 loss at home to Lens which now makes it just three wins from their last nine matches overall in Ligue 1.
Two of Brest’s three recent wins have been achieved on home soil at their Stade Francis-Le Blé with victories gained over Angers and Monaco but the visitors have also been dealt losses at the hands of Lyon and Lens as well.
Results away from home though have been encouraging as Eric Roy’s side have suffered just one loss in their last seven outings on the road along with recording four wins within this period at Rennes, Le Havre, Nantes and Toulouse.
