Once again the pressure is building on Ruben Amorim as manager of Manchester United as they dropped more points at Old Trafford on Thursday evening. The real concern is how pedestrian the team have been looking, despite not having any European Football on the schedule, and fans are beginning to lose patience.
The last twelve months have been pretty miserable when it comes to Ruben Amorim actually overseeing wins and the pain is the fact that the top half of the Premier League table looks weak and something Manchester United should be exploiting. They are 8th in the table and Manchester United have a 2-3-2 away record in the top flight.
Positive fans may point out that Manchester United have lost 1 of the last 8 Premier League games, but 3 of the last 5 have now ended in draws. The side did come from behind to beat Crystal Palace in the last away game and Manchester United are unbeaten in 4 on their travels, while winning half of those fixtures.
Matthijs de Ligt and Diego Dalot are expected to be available, but Harry Maguire and Benjamin Sesko may have to wait another week.

Wolves did the Premier League double over Manchester United last season and kept clean sheets in both wins.

Ruben Amorim has to know that, but he is proving to be too stubborn for his own good and will need the quality players that were signed to produce magical moments for him.
Manchester United should be able to do that against a desperate Wolves team who have looked completely out of depth in the Premier League.
Rob Edwards has come in and tried to light a fire underneath the players, but the quality is lacking after more key players departed in the summer and the attention may already have turned to the off-season.
Wolves have tried to be competitive, but they are simply not scoring goals and that should mean even this Manchester United team can find a way to secure the points.
Anything less may even make the Manchester United boardroom a little twitchy and it would not be a surprise if Matheus Cunha is the key against his former club.
