Atalanta keeps winning; they just took care of Cagliari 2-1 at home after doing the same to one Chelsea FC four days earlier, and we still can't explain the 3-1 defeat in Verona. Probably no one can.
New coach Palladino is responsible for making this team play good offensive football again, but the key seems to be the recovery of Gianluca Scamacca. Atalanta has been creating tons of good chances all season but didn't have a spearhead that would convert them. They were a bunch of midfielders with no killers in front of the goal.
This changed when Scamacca was recently installed into the starting linep, and he has since become the recognizable face of Atalanta's offense.
