Match of the week as the top two in La Liga goes head to head at The Bernabeu Stadium as a win for Real Madrid will close the gap to just a point between them!

Real Madrid is coming into this match in scintillating form as they have won their last seven matches in a row and their home form has been good as well winning their last three matches since drawing with Atletico Madrid 1-1. They managed wins against the likes of Almeria 3-0, Valladolid 2-0 and Getafe 2-0. They were presented with a tough match in their last match but came out with all three points when they beat Sevilla 4-2 away from home.

Barcelona on the other hand will have one eye on the return leg with Chelsea after it finished goalless in the first leg and their last La Liga match saw their winning streak of seven games in a row came to a halt when they could only managed a 2-2 draw with Valencia.

It has to be said that looking at their away games before the draw with Valencia, they faced opponents outside of the top 10, as they beat the likes of Almeria 0-2, Valladolid and Getafe 0-1.

This match points to a draw but given the home ground advantage, I will go for Real Madrid on level ball handicap not to get beaten here.
