‘The Wolves’ failed to win in Bremen in the last round after being up twice and conceding a goal in the last minute. Edin Dzeko proved his good form having scored twice against Werder Bremen. He has scored six times so far and together with his fellow countryman Zvjezdan Misimovic, who has also scored six times, are the best scorers for Wolfsburg.

Wolfsburg have to start winning again especially at the home ground, where they where unbeatable last season.

For this match, coach Armin Veh will have to select his team without the services of Jonathan Santana, who is still struggling with a muscle tear. Midfielder Sebastian Schindzielorz, will be out of the squad for a longer period due to his torn inner ligament which he suffered in a friendly match.

Freiburg have won the last two away matches and slowly are trying to escape the bottom zone as they now climbed to 13th place with 16 points.

Last week they beat Nurnberg away which was fifth win for the team this season. The team plays offensively and they have scored in six out of the seven away matches so far which shows that this team is not afraid to attack no matter where they play.

Idrissou will be alone striker up front in somehow more defensive formation with four midfielders and five defenders.

There are no reports of any injured or suspended players that will be out of the squad for this match.
