Inter starts as favourites after their emphatic win in the Champions League over Barcelona. They are a point behind A.S Roma in Serie A and are still in with the chance to win the treble. A win is a must here.

There has been news about Mario Balotelli as despite Mourinho saying he will start this match but the fans do not want him to play for them again.

Atalanta are still battling against relegation so they are in need of the points here as well. They did beat Fiorentina at the weekend but are still behind Bologna by two points in the standings.

Atalanta will try to avoid defeat in this match but after losing to Roma two weeks ago, not many are giving them many chances here. Their coach Daniele Capelli has insisted that they must stay focus on survival in Serie A.

As for the team news, Goran Pandev should start in the trident behind top-scorer Diego Milito which emans that Balotelli is not likely to start. Lucio could be rested, with Marco Materazzi starting instead. In midfield Sulley Muntari should start instead of Thiago Motta.

As for Atalanta, they have a depleted squad due to injury. Andrea Consigli will be replaced by Ferdinando Coppola in the side. Cristiano Doni will start from the bench and the duo up front will most likely be Simone Tiribocchi and Nicola Amoruso even though Ernesto Chevanton is available.
