Analysis:

Both sides were promoted last season but as fate would have it, Parma will stay up while Livorno have been relegated back to Serie B. Parma will say goodbye to Francesco Guidolin while it has already been the end of the road for Livorno as they bid farewell to Serie A.

Parma surprisingly beat Juventus 3-2 last Sunday but despite the win Guidolin has hinted at a move back to Udinese. But one player who will return to Parma next season will be Cristiano Lucarelli after spending the season on loan this season. He misses out this match due to an injury but will watch from the stands.

His younger brother Alessandro, who now plays for Parma, is bound to be on the pitch against Livorno. Stefano Morrone and Luca Pavarini will feature against their former clubs Livorno.

The visitors Livorno has a huge injury list with the likes of Leonardo Miglionico, Nelson Rivas, Francesco Tavano, Dario Knezevic and Nico Pulzetti out injured. Also doubtful are Antonio Filippini, Andrea Esposito, Pablo Diniz and Mirko Pieri, so Tomas Danilevicius and Claudio Bellucci is likely to lead the attack.

Meanwhile the hosts are without Damiano Zenoni and Massimo Paci, but welcome back Blerim Dzemaili and Luis Jimenez from suspension. Despite missing them, they still did well to beat Juventus since 1999.

Parma will want to finish their season with a win in front of their home faithfuls. Guidolin will have the option to choose between Jonathan Biabiany, Hernan Crespo, Davide Lanzafame and Valeri Bojinov to lead the attack. He even could start with a 4-4-1-1 system here.

When they played in Serie B it ended in a goalless draw but in 2007-08 Parma won the match 3-2.
