Breidablik's run this season makes you really wonder if their win last season was just a one time wonder. Even though, they lost their main goalscorer from last sesaon, Alfred Finnbogason, that alone can't explain their bad performance as the reigning champions.
Sitting in 8th with only 15 points from 12 games they could drop one seat lower if they fail to produce anything against FH Hafnarfjordur. The fact that Breidablik are long out of the title race and that it's highly unlikely they will be in any danger of relegating one has to wonder how their spirits are now since they don't really have anything to compete for.
After losing their last two games Breidablik's overall record is 4-3-5, 20:24. They have two major problems; terrible defense and and terrible away record. While being the second best at home with 4-1-1, 14:8, they are the worst on the road in the league with a horrible 0-2-4, 6:16.
Breidablik have not been able to keep a clean sheet in any of the 12 league games or their cup games. This means they have conceded the second most in the league, only 2 less goals than Grindavik.
After losing their away game against FH 1-4 in the reverse fixture earlier in the season, Breidablik will surely be aiming to use their strength at home to avenge for that defeat and get back to the upper part of the table.
Surely Breidablik is well able to beat FH Hafnarfjordur at home, at least they have the stats on their side. At home they have scored twice as much as on the road and conceded half the goals as they have when travelling.

FH Hafnarfjordur are unstable. Just look at their run; WDLWWLWDDDWL. This is not good enough for a side aiming for the title battle.
FH mad a bad start last season but managed to climb up to the 2nd spot. However, their bad run has been a little longer this time and their time is running out. Since they have only lost 3 games they still have a small chance of turning their luck over since the champions over the last three years have lost 3-5 games over the season.
Still, these are only stats and the fact that KR Reykjavik still haven't lost a game makes it hard to believe any team catching up with them. But by beating Breidablik, FH could jump into 3rd place.
After producing a fine 3-2 win a man down against Valur in the last round FH's overall record is 5-4-3, 26:18. They are the strongest in the league at home with 4-2-0, 20:8, but weaker on the road with 1-2-3, 6:10. This fact must be worrying for them visiting the second strongest home team in the league.
FH can surely score goals but their defense could be better and its slow tempo could be troublesome against Breidablik's great attack. Also one must notice that FH have only scored 6 of their 26 goals on the road.
Failing to grab all three points here could very well be the end of FH's title hopes since KR are on such a great run. With this in mind FH will surely take a risk forward knowing that Breidablik's defense isn't the strongest one.
