In the first leg they also beat Huesca by 2-0 but now their thoughts on winning La Liga matches if they are to avoid the drop.
As for the team news, they are without the likes of Berchiche, Nolaskoain and I. Martinez as they are suspended. The other absentee is Belenziaga who is out injured. Interestingly they are all players in defence.
FC Girona
This is a good season for them no doubt. They were sixth before this match and to stay in the top ten still is an indication of their good results. They had a good run of six matches without defeat and if we consider their matches in the Cup they have not been beaten in their last eight matches now.
In the Copa del Rey they beat Alaves at home and managed to draw away to progress to the next round. In the league after a draw they managed to win and their last defeat was at home to Eibar by 3-2 at the start of October.
Interestingly they remain the only team in La Liga that has not yet tasted defeat away from home this season. Away from home they won three and drew three matches. In their last match they drew at home with Atletico Madrid. They had the lead for a long time so they will be kicking themselves for not winning all three points in that match. They scored first through Stuani, who has scored 11 goals this season.
As for the team news, they will be without the services of goalkeeper Bono and striker Roberts.
