Sampdoria
No doubt that Sampdoria's shock loss to Frosinone in their last match at home was the biggest surprise of the week. They are now in ninth spot with 33 points and they are still only five points away from the european places.
The player to watch for Sampdoria will be Fabio Quagliarella who has equalled Gabriel Batistuta’s record of scoring in 11 consecutive Serie A matches and he is getting better as he turns 36 years old.
Sampdoria have won just one out of their last six away games. Their last three away games have seen them lost to Juventus 2-1, drew with Fiorentina 3-3 and lost to Napoli 3-0.
As for the team news, Edgar Barreto is injured, but should be back for their next match at least. However, Gianluca Caprari is out for at least a few months.
