Analysis:England welcomes the visit of Croatia to Wembley and Steve McClaren knows his side just needs a draw in this match to progress to Euro 2008. A defeat here would simply be unthinkable. But a big win here could also see them come out as group winners after Israel did them a favour by beating Russia last Saturday.
A 2-0 win for England would be enough to see them top the group here. McClaren has opted to start with Scott Carson in goal instead of Paul Robinson after all it was his error who gifted Croatia a 2-0 win when these two sides met in Zagreb last year. Chelsea winger Shaun Wright-Phillips could come into the side at the expense of David Beckham to inject more pace into the side. In attack Peter Crouch will be the lone figure as Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney out injured. The likes of Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard and Gareth Barry will start in midfield.
On the left side of the field we will see the likes of Chelsea duo Wayne Bridge and Joe Cole featuring. Micah Richards should continue at right-back, in the absence of Gary Neville. Sol Campbell and Joleon Lescott. Will start in central defense as Rio Ferdinand is out suspended while John Terry is out injured.
As for Croatia they are already through so they will not be too worries here. They were even beaten by Macedonia in their last match since they already know qualification had been established. If Croatia wins here, they would allow Russia to go through, but that is very very unlikely to happen here.
