Having been dealt just a single loss so far in this season’s Championship campaign whilst picking up three wins and involved in two draws, the hosts are expected to be tough to beat here.
Bristol City were handed their first loss in this Championship campaign last weekend when The Robins slipped up at home to Oxford United in what was an unexpected 3-1 defeat at Ashton Gate.
Gerhard Struber’s side had previously posted back-to-back wins against Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday respectively with 4-2 and 3-0 wins respectively, and the west country outfit have also collected three wins along with points picked up in two draws as well.
The Robins also remain unbeaten away from home so far in this Championship season but the visitors’ unbeaten tag on the road could come under severe pressure at Deepdale against an equally solid performing Preston NE outfit.
