Como only played 0-0 at Parma after beating Juventus 2-0 at home, yet again proving that points distribution doesn't necessarily make sense. Wouldn't it be easier to simply...beat Parma and draw with Juventus? Apparently, not if you're Como.

Como seems to beat the big teams at home - by defending deep and launching counter attacks - yet struggles to beat the relegation candidates when they need to dictate play themselves.

You could look at Verona's 2-2 home draw against Cagliari in multiple ways. You could say Verona deserves credit for going 2-0 up or that it's ridiculous to squander a 2-0 lead against a lowly relegation candidate that can't perform in road matches. We say Verona once again displayed an inability to control a football game. You don't allow a visitor such a crazy comeback regardless who the visitor is.
Verona is still winless this season with a 0-5-3, and with four goals scored, which means they scored half of their 2025/26 goals in that game against Cagliari. It's actually a miracle that they don't score more, as they find themselves in good situations very, very often. Could be a confidence issue and could be something that has passed now with those two goals.

Como to win would be an obvious choice, but we again must stress the fact that Como hasn't yet learned to play as a favourite. Verona isn't a bad side either, they can play football and they can create chances. Giovani and Orban are good, direct forwards.
As Verona is still without a win, we can expect them to take more and more risk in an effort to finally get the W. And that probably means they'll score here. So did Genoa and Cremonese here at Lago di Como, the final score was 1-1 in both cases.
