Juventus has a new coach, Luciano Spalletti, who won exactly one trophy in Italy so far and then stepped down as he knew he got lucky and couldn't possibly repeat the scudetto with Napoli. Spalletti is known to bring sides just barely into the Champions League spots on the last day of the season, but he doesn't really win titles. He is known to stabilize big teams that are in trouble but not actually win anything with them. So, expect a hard-fought Champions League spot for Juventus.
At the moment, Juventus is a troubled side because it has enough talent to keep possession, play offensively and pin the opponent down, yet not enough talent to unlock the congested defence. It would take a more cunning coach than Motta or Tudor to somehow lure the opponent into thinking they can play football against Juventus - and then have more open space for their own offensive combinations. Maybe Spalletti is it?
Here's an interesting fact. From 2011 to 2021, all four coaches had a win rate of at least 65% with Juventus. Conte, Allegri, Sarri, Pirlo. Thiago Motta and Igor Tudor both had 42%. Were these two bad or is this roster not capable of more? We'll find out soon enough. For now, it seems that Spalletti will need some serious magic to turn this Juventus into a team that wins two-thirds of the time.

It remains to be seen how will Spalletti line up Juventus, but he doesn't really have that many options. It will likely be something similar to what we've been seeing so far.
