After losing to Benfica and Udinese, Napoli apparently fixed many of the issues Antonio Conte has noticed, and ended up winning the next four matches in all competitions with an identical 2-0 scoreline. Two wins were in the Super Cup, then when Napoli came back to Italy, they won against Cremonese and against Lazio.
It's a three-way battle for the scudetto and Napoli is on the 3rd position now, one point behind Milan and two behind Inter. A win here is obviously a must.
Verona Team News
Verona won against Atalanta and against Fiorentina, and then proceeded to lose to Milan and Torino. This isn't entirey unexpected. Verona will do well on a good day, and win against anyone, as this fluent-passing offensive team will do that to you if you let them. On the other hand, they're very soft in defence and can't control a football game either, so they usually end up losing.
Despite the two recent wins, Verona is still deep in the relegation zone, and even 3 new points wouldn't be enough to get out as Genoa, 3 points ahead, has better goal difference. Fiorentina and Pisa are also on 12 points, same as Verona.
