A lot of money has already been invested and Hull City may yet to more business, while The Tigers will feel they offer some bite on their travels having won 10 away League games last season.
Hull City backed up the win over Manchester United by beating Stoke City on Penalties in the League Cup Second Round on Tuesday. That means they have only lost 1 of the last 9 games played in all competitions going back to last season. However, Hull City have also won just 1 of the last 6 away games played in all competitions in normal time.
Wholesale changes were made to the starting eleven in the League Cup with the priority for the club being survival in the Premier League. A number of squad players are dealing with early season injuries, while the likes of Lewie Coyle, Semi Ajayi and Nobel Mendy were withdrawn with niggles last week that will need to be overcome.

Both League fixtures between these clubs were competitive affairs last season, although Frank Lampard will feel his Coventry City were more deserving of winning the home game against Hull City.
The more recent of those two fixtures was hosted by Hull City and it was a much more even contest, which should give the visiting team belief when heading to the CBS Arena where they have enjoyed playing in recent campaigns.
Hull City are playing here for the sixth season in a row and only been beaten once in that run, while the 2-0 win over Manchester United should mean the team are playing with a huge amount of confidence. Most of the key players were rested in the League Cup Penalty Shoot Out win at Stoke City and The Tigers will feel the pressure is on the hosts to get forward, which may leave spaces to exploit.
Set pieces proved to be the difference for Hull City last week and they will be looking to use those to good effect again, but you have to believe Coventry City will be prepared.

Of course there will also be a real feeling that Coventry City are not going to be playing an opponent as strong as Arsenal every week, although the fans will be expecting a strong result to join the other promoted clubs with a win under the belt.
This will be something that Coventry City's squad will be aware of as well, which can be restrictive as players look to focus.
