Much more was expected from Zverev, and all those who witnessed the match knows that Zverev was able to match Djokovic until the end of the first set. After he saved two break-balls at his service, Djokovic managed to take the service of his opponent. That got him the advantage of 1:0. After that Zverev lost his concentration and could no longer procide any resistance after that.
Cilic
Cilic finally came good at the ATP Finals in London. In his previous appearance he did not show much, but this year he seems more committed, even though he lost his first match against Zverev. It should be mentioned here that Cilic had the advantage of the break in both sets in that match and he has gambled it all. In the second match against Isner, the Croatian showed much better impression it can be said.
Isner won the first set after a tie break, but Cilic continued to put pressure on Isner's powerful serves and he managed to come to breaks which he needed to turn the result. It can be said that Isner has hit the first service more often, but Cilic was the one who has won more points after the first service. Cilic still has a chance to make the semi finals, but it also depends on Zverev in the other match.

They have met 18 times and Djokovic has won 16 times. Cilic won recently at the Queen's Club before Wimbledon, but Djokovic revenged to him at the Masters in Cincinnati and Paris.
