Introduction :
No doubt one of the most interesting semi finals of the Coppa Italia as Lazio hosts AC Milan. Both sides were already eliminated from the Europa League this season, Lazio in the round of 32 while AC Milan in the group stage.
Milan is fourth in Serie A at the moment while Lazio is in six spot and they are separated by seven points. Lazio has played one match less as their match was postponed last weekend but they have lost their last three games, while Milan are unbeaten in their last seven games.

Lazio are now in a crisis as they have lost their last three games and two of them were in the Europa League where they came up against Sevilla and lost both games. Lazio lost the first leg by 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico and then in the second leg they also lost by 2-0 so they failed to get on the scoresheet and that was the end of their europa league campaign.
In between those two matches with Sevilla, Lazio also lost to Genoa away in Serie A. Against Genoa they had the lead until the 75th minute and then they conceded two goals. It has to be said the second goal came in injury time however. Manager Inzaghi made changes to the side that played against Sevilla but they had problems with injuries.
The good news is that Luis Alberto and Parolo have recovered however Radu will miss this match after he was sent off in the quarter finals against Inter Milan.
AC Milan
Milan is in good form and they are unbeaten for a long time now. In the group stage of the Europa League they did not play well and were eliminated. In Serie A they have not been beaten for 2 months now.
After the home defeat by Fiorentina, they played eight matches and managed to win five of them. That does not include the win against Napoli in the quarter finals which they managed to win by 2-0. They also won three league matches and each time they scored three goals.
In that same period, AC Milan also conceded just once. That was against Atalanta away from home where Atalanta had a lead of 1-0 two rounds ago but they managed to come back and win by 1-3.
Last Friday AC Milan hosted Empoli at home and won by 3-0. They had some small problems in the first half, but then they scored two quick goals at the start of the second half to put the game to rest. Striker Piatek is playing well and he was the one to have scored the first goal.
AC Milan will likely make some changes for this match.
