Analysis:

Tottenham will be confident of getting three points here as they have managed to beat Bolton in five of their last seven meetings at White Hart Lane. The visitors on the other hand has managed back to back wins beating the likes of West Ham and Middlesbrough and they have climbed out of the bottom three as a result of those wins.

Bolton has a tough run in as they will face Tottenham at White Hart Lane today, followed by a home meeting with Sunderland and then a clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on the final day of the season, so their survival could depend on whatever points they can get from today’s match against Tottenham as well as the match against Sunderland.

As it stands now Bolton are just a point above Birmingham who are in the bottom three and are only ahead of Reading by virtue of their superior goal difference, so they cannot afford to slip up here.

As for Tottenham, ever since they won the Carling Cup, their season seems to have ended and they have had some poor results to follow. They crashed out of Europe on penalties against PSV Eindhoven and have failed to secure back-to-back victories in the Premier League.

Tottenham’s last three games have all ended in 1-1 draws but their home achievement is still better than any other team as they have scored 45 goals in 17 games.

With regards to the team news, Bolton will miss the services of striker Kevin Davies as he is suspended for this clash as he needs to serve the second of his two match ban. Even so he is rated doubtful after breaking his hand. Grzegorz Rasiak should recover from a cut to his right eye to play against his former club Tottenham here. Midfielder Joey O'Brien even though is available at best will start from the bench in this match.

As for the home side, goalkeeper Paul Robinson will hope to start this match after recovery from an ankle injury. Juane Ramos could have the services of Jonathan Woodgate (ankle) and Pascal Chimbonda (calf) back in the side after the duo recovered from their injuries but for Ledley King (knee), Gareth Bale (foot) and Benoit Assou-Ekotto the season has ended for them as they are out on long term injuries.

Take Tottenham to win and give the 1/2 ball away here.

Cheers and good luck,
Cruiser
