Atalanta suffered a second league defeat on the trot in the Italian top flight last weekend in Serie A when the upcoming hosts were dealt a disappointing 1-0 defeat away from home at Fiorentina which followed on from a 2-0 loss at home to Inter Milan just before the international break.

The visitors have made themselves a tough unit to beat though in recent times in Serie A as Marco Baroni’s side have slipped to just one loss within their last eight games overall which also includes gaining victories over the likes of Cagliari, Monza and AC Milan, the latter being a 2-1 win away from home.
In addition, Lazio have been involved in four draws as well within this eight-game period, three of which also resulted in both teams scoring, while the bigger picture shows 20 out of Lazio’s last 30 games overall have seen both teams score.
